• This past weekend (10/15/2011), GMF cheerleaders had Cheerfest...All four squad's placed!!! Smurf's and Junior Varsity took 1st place and Mid Varsity and Varsity took 3rd... YEA!!! :)

• This Thursday (10/20/2011) the fudge fundraiser will be in and will needed to be picked up that night during or after practice.

• We will be walking in the Gettysburg parade on the 25th. Parent volunteers are welcome to help and also help with decorating the float would be appreciated.

• Come out and support GMF at the Round Barn of Terror this Friday and Saturday night (10/21 & 10/22) from 6:30PM to 10:30PM. Cost is $10 per person, which includes the Round Barn of Terror, bonfire, and outdoor movie theater (weather permitting). Members of our organization will be working the haunted barn for a portion of the proceeds. GMF will be paid by the amount of people that come thru the barn, so the more the merrier!!!

• Volunteer Schedules/Times are out and if anyone intrested in signing up for their volunteer time for either games or practices, please come to the snack table during practice and sign up!!!

• Snacks and drinks are available for purchase @ the snack table at the building and hot foods by "Uncle Mo's Soul Food" in the parking lot.

• REMINDER!!! Fundraisers are due to your childs coach or team mom NO LATER THAN AUGUST 23rd. Any questions, please contact one of the board members.

• Practices are held at the middle school Monday - Thursday from 6pm to 7:30pm.

• GMF Handbooks are now on the website under our new Handbooks section.

• Parents are invited and encouraged to attend monthly board meetings. Currently our meetings are held every 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at Lake Heritage Community Building.
